The 10th food festival kicks off in HCMC - Website Ho Chi Minh City
On December 3, the 10th food festival called Taste of the World kicked off at September 23 park, District 1, HCMC.
The festival attracted participation of 90 booths from 26 countries and territories; it is a chance for local people and foreign visitors to enjoy the tastes from 5 continents.
“The Taste of the World Culinary” festival also included special and attractive art activities such as performances of Vietnam Guinness Records on Vietnamese vegetarian dishes, fruit carving, 5 star chef party. Besides, experts from World Food Culture Center also gave cooking demonstrations. The festival included exchanges with champion of the Golden Spoon contest, wine tasting, etc.
The festival is a special event featuring spiritual and cultural values; it is a unique opportunity for locals and foreign visitors to enjoy a wide range of dishes from many countries and territories in the world. Through 10 versions, the festival has become a regional event to promote and attract more international tourists to Vietnam.
The 4 day festival is expected to attract 300,000 local and foreign visitors.
