Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong receives State Secretary of of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary - Website Ho Chi Minh City
On Nov 14, Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong recieve State Secretary of of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Csaba Balogh in his working visit to Vietnam.
At the reception, Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong affirmed that Vietnam always considers Hungary a leading traditional partner in Eastern Europe. The visit of General Secretary of Vietnamese Communist Party in Septmeber was a clear proof for multi-faceted relations between Vietnam and Hungary.
Chairman Phong expressed his commitment that HCMC will be a linking bridge for Hungarian companies to penetrate into Asia-Pacific region, saying the city always welcomes Hungarian investors. He expressed his hope that Hungary will create favorable conditions for HCMC’s companies to invest in Hungary.
For his part, Mr. Csaba Balogh thanked HCMC’s leaders for their sincere welcome and hospitality. He briefly announced the working contents and agenda with Vietnamese Ministries and departments, including the 8th session of Vietnam-Hungary Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation. The 8th meeting aims to turn political decision of both countries’ laders into practital results. He also affirmed that Vietnam is an important partner of Hungary in Southeast Asia, expressing his hope to turn HCMC into a more important partner of Hungary in Southern part and Southeast Asia region.
