According to Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Van Khoa, the city has fully implemented policies of the State, Party for people with meritorious contributions to the revolution, poor people and policy beneficiary families, etc. Typically, this is the first time the city organize “Gathering in Tet holiday” program at 3 levels of trade union, ensuring Tet holiday for every people and family, creating confidence to every people. With a motto of “Tet holidays to every family”, the city has spent VND 1, 900 billion to take care of poor people on the Dinh Dau Lunar New Year 2017, an increase of VND 800 billion compared to Binh Than Lunar New Year 2016.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary Thang requested related departments and agencies to focus on building Party strong and clean in 2017, completing criticism  in accordance with Resolution 4 of Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam XII; effectively implementing 07 breakthrough programs; strengthening administrative reform and implementing key projects such as transport, anti-flooding, etc.
