On February 3, at the Friendship House, HCMC Union of Friendship Organizations hosted a get together welcoming the Lunar New Year 2015. The get together attracted 100 members of Vietnam-US Friendship Association, students, overseas Vietnamese and US friends living and working in HCMC.

Speaking at the party, President of Vietnam-US Friendship Association-HCMC Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong noted: “Solidarity and friendship relations between people of Vietnam and of USA are deeply tightened and strongly developed in many fields. In 2014, Vietnam-US Friendship Association has become a linking bridge for preserving, fostering Vietnam-US friendship, contributing to enhancement of co-operation and strengthening friendship relations between people of both countries.

On this occasion, Vietnam-US Friendship Association presented 170 square glutinous rice cake to Thi Nghe Nursing Center and Center for Disabled Children Assistance of District 2. These gifts aimed to provide a happy and significant Tet holidays for the elderly and unfortunate children.
