On March 25, Department of International Trade Promotion of Thailand (DITP) and VITAS (Vietnam Textile &Apparel Association) together with Reed Tradex (Thailand) has co-organized a press conference on textile and garment industry exhibition held in BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand from July 9-12 entitled: “Improvement of competitiveness in the context of integration into ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) –GFT & GMS 2015).
2015 is the most comprehensive show for textile and garment business community with participation of over 17.000 domestic and overseas visiting industry professionals to network with 250 leading brands from 25 countries. The show displays a wide range of products like embroidery machine, automatic cutting machine, digital printing technology, fresh innovation material such as multi-functional textile. Besides, some seminars will be organized between business partners entitled: “Summit on Southeast Asia textile”.
Mrs. Malinee Harnboonsong, Director of DITP said Thai Government has issued support policies for trade and investment relations in AEC, this creates opportunities for Vietnamese manufacturers to strengthen business opportunities and to improve production capacity with Thai partners. AEC has accelerated bilateral trade between Thailand and Vietnam, every nation will strive to do a good job in its specific fields.

Thailand and Vietnam have a long relationship to support each other in fields of supplying material and trading finished products.
