On May 20, at Tatmadaw Hall, Yangon City, Myanmar, the fifth Vietnam-Myanmar Trade Service Tourism Exhibition 2015 (HCMC Expo 2015) was opened and ended successfully on May 24, 2015.
Vice Chairwoman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hong , Deputy Mayor of Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Vietnamese Ambassador to Myanmar Pham Thanh Dung together with representatives of The Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) joined the ribbon cutting ceremony.
80 Vietnamese enterprises with 125 booths joining the exhibition with groups include processed foods, processed agricultural products, electrical appliances, textile, footwear, cosmetics, interior furniture, ceramic, handicraft, agricultural materials, construction material, industrial machinery and equipments, etc. Vietnamese enterprises have introduced Vietnamese made products to the hands of people of Myanmar, establishing distribution channels in Myanmar.
At the common house of exhibition, ITPC incorporated with Yangon City Development Center (YCDC) to showcase photos of solidarity and friendship relationship between Vietnam and Myanmar, displaying achievements of economy, politics, culture, society of Vietnam and HCMC. Enterprises of Vietnam and Myanmar displayed products, conducting business exchanges and connectivity. Many Vietnamese enterprises have exported their products to Myanmar since 1999. On May 24, HCMC Expo 2015 was ended in great success.
