On the occasion of Tet holidays, in the afternoon of February 2, a delegation of HCMC People’s Committee paid a visit and gave gifts to 3 poor households and a family of the elderly in District 5.
Visiting to families of Mrs. Cao Cam Quyen’s family in Ward 2, Mr. Quan To in Ward 6, Mrs. Ha Ngoc Ninh in Ward 8, District 5, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tin encouraged and wished members of these families to continue promoting their will to strive for better lives.
Mr. Tin stressed that HCMC always pays a special attention to reduction of poor households, increasing rich households, the city is always incorporation with authorities of localities to take care of, support for local people.
The delegation also paid a visit to Mr. Cao Thuc Gian, aged 100, in Ward 6, District 5, member of Vietnam Communist Party with seniority of 65 years. Mr. Tin gave gifts (golden plaque and 5m silk) wished Mr. Gian good health and long life.
