University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) will help Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City to develop molecular biology and cancer sectors as well as to train education experts.
A group of professors from UCLA June 30 visited Vietnam National University to discuss the implementation of two cooperation programs. American university will assist Vietnamese university to build a research center on molecular biology, biochemistry and cancer sectors.
Under the deal, UCLA helps training university managing & educational science experts. The American professors will have a meeting with city’s leaders, the Ministry of Science-Technology and the Ministry of Health during their visit.
UCLA was established in 1919 and ranked 12 among the world’s leading universities by Thomson Reuters’ index in 2013-2014. Since 2008, scientists of UCLA and Vietnam National University focused on the creation and development of molecular and nano-architecture.
