Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Manh Ha congratulated people of Russia Federation, saying that although it has gone through 70 years but the victory over Fascism still upholds the same value and significance. The victory has liberated people of Europe from fascism and took human kind out of catastrophe. Peace loving people, of whom are Vietnamese people, always treasure contributions and sacrifice of Soviet Union Red Army Soldiers in the great war over fascism. The victory over Fascism is a driving force for the struggles of national liberation around the world.

Russian  Consulate General in HCMC affirmed that the victory day is a symbol of heroism, tenacity and courage. The victory, 70 years ago, was thanked to common efforts of many countries, many Vietnamese soldiers joined the Red Army force.  Red Army not only drove enemies out of its territory, but also brought freedom to the whole Europe, paved the way for Asian and African peoples to fight for independence.
