On May 11, the first Exhibition of Electronics, Telecommunications, IT 2017 was opened at Conference Center, 272 Vo Thi Sau Street, District 3, HCMC. Attended the opening ceremony include Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen.
The exhibition, took place till end of May 12 2017, attracted 50 booths from 38 enterprises operating in fields of IT, electronics and telecommunications.
The event was organized by HCMC Department of Information and Communications and chaired by HCMC People’s Committee to introduce, honor and promote Vietnamese IT, electronics and telecommunication products which meet criteria of socio-economic efficiency, brand prestige, good revenue, big amount of customers, creativity, etc. The event has arisen the spirit of self-reliance, self-respect, raising the sense of responsibility of local people in supporting Vietnamese products and knowledge of technology for Vietnamese consumers.
Especially, the hi-tech agricultural booth for business startup has introduced some potential products, presenting the right investment of the city’s leaders.
In the framework of the exhibition, 4 specialized seminars were organized including “IT solutions for building e-government and smart city”, “digital solutions for administrative reform and e-government”, “application of IoT in hi-tech agricultural development”, “application of Vietnam semi-conductor products”
