On April 6, Permanent Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem received a delegation led by Mrs. Doris Leuthart, Swiss Minister of Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications on a working visit to the city.
On behalf of the city’s leaders, Mr. Liem thanked Swiss Government for its ODA support to Vietnam in fields of poverty reduction and hunger eradication, socio-economic development, trade, education.
For her part, Mrs. Doris Leuthart expressed her hope that HCMC will create favorable conditions for Swiss businesses to seek cooperation opportunities and to access to investment projects in the city including smart city project.
