On March 11, Mr. Nguyen Van Lam, Deputy Head of HCMC’s Economics and Budget Department under HCMC People’s Council chaired a survey on progress of implementation of Le Minh Xuan III Industrial Park project.
According to report of Binh Chanh district, land has been handed over to investor of Le Minh Xuan III Industrial Park since September 2015; price of land compensation is under approval. HCM CITYWEB
Saigon VRG Investment Holding Corporation said it has received 219 hectares of crop lands and 11, 5 hectares of lands from local people. The Corp has handed in land lease dossiers but not approved yet. It is a request of the Corp to speed up the progress of residential area planning adjacent to the industrial park to serve for the industrial park.
Mr. Nguyen Van Lam sad land allocation or land lease needs a close process, sometimes it causes difficulties for enterprises, he added that he will urge HCMC Department of Planning and Architecture to speed up the progress. However, he noted that investors need to build sub-roads beside main roads to be ready for enterprises to invest.
“Saigon VRG Investment Holding Corporation needs to speed up progress of construction of infrastructure. The slower the project, the more frustrated the local people of Quarter 4 and 5, Dong Hung Thuan Ward, District 12 will get”, said Nguyen Van Lam.
