July 3, Standing Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem receives Special Advisor to Vietnam-japan Friendship Parliamentary Alliance Tsutomu Takeke in his working visit to HCMC.
At the reception, Mr. Liem highly spoke of Japan’s coordination with local authorities of HCMC to successful organize the 5th Vietnam-Japan festival, saying HCMC will continue to coordinate with Japan to organize such as event in the coming years.
He expressed his hope that Mr. Tsutomu Takebe will continue to play his role as a linking bridge for Vietnam and Japan to deepen cooperation in many fields, saying HCMC will support Japan to organize cooperation activities, especially in high-quality human resource training activities.
For his part, Mr. Tsutomu Takebe expressed his delight at witnessing the strong development of Vietnam-Japan cooperation relations. He added that the Vietnam-Japan Festival is a significantly cultural event organized y-o-y to strengthen exchange activities between people of both countries. He also hopes to receive support and close coordination of Vietnam in general and HCMC in particular to bring success to the Vietnam-Japan Festival 2019.
