On the occasion of Tet holidays 2015, on February 11, a delegation of HCMC led by Mr. Secretary of HCMC Party Committee Le Thanh Hai paid a visit and sent Tet wishes to unites of border guards and poor people, ethnic minorities with difficult situation in Can Gio District, HCMC.
Visiting Flotilla 2 and Thanh An, Can Thanh and Long Hoa border posts, Mr. Le Thanh Hai praised operation results of border posts in Can Gio, these posts have done an excellent job of protecting islands, rescue; having a strong attachment to local people; actively participating into construction and socio-economic development of localities and showing good nature of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers”.
The delegation also paid a visit and wished Mrs. Huynh Thi Kiem long life, aged 1000 in Can Thanh town. The delegation also visited and gave Tet gifts to two families with difficult economic situations, 3 ethnic Khmer families in Binh Khanh Commune.
