On February 05, Secretary of HCMC Party Committee Le Thanh Hai received Mr.  Popov Alexey Vladimirovich, new Russian Consul General in HCMC

At the meeting, Mr. Popov Alexey Vladimirovich expressed his delight at his new term in HCMC and said that HCMC has many potential for promoting and developing co-operation relations in many fields with localities in Russia, contributing to development of Vietnam-Russia deeply relationship.

Mr. Le Thanh Hai highly appreciated friendship and co-operation results of Vietnam and Russia in the past time. Mr. Hai said that co-operation relations between HCMC and localities of Russia is not matched with available potentials. Mr. Hai hoped that in a new term as Russian Consul General in HCMC, Mr. Popov Alexey Vladimirovich will further promote co-operation relations between HCMC and localities of Russia in fields of economy, trade and tourism.
