According to a report of Go Vap District, economic growth rate of Go Vap exceeds its target by 2, 05%, economic structure shifting on the right track in the direction of “service-industry”, trade centers meeting shopping demands of local people, ensuring political stability and social order. Especially, Go Vap has paid special attention to most concerned issues like traffic safety; anti-flooding, key projects including schools, hospitals, urban gentrification, etc. have been constructed and put into operation.

Mr. Thang praised achieved results of Go Vap district in the first year of implementation of the district’s 11th Party resolution and the city’s 10th Party resolution, saying it is a good premise for following years.

He requested Go Vap to carefully assess its ability in aggressively implementing criteria worked out by Party Congress at all levels, putting a focus on upholding its strengths such as education, culture, etc. He also requested the district to focus on improving business and investment environment, solving traffic congestion, anti-flooding, preventing environmental pollution, etc. He added that the district should strengthen socialization on designing livelihood; do as I say, to be deserved with people’s trust.
