At the reception, Mr. Dinh La Thang briefly introduced some investment policies and cooperation mechanisms in some fields of HCMC. 

Mr. Arun Kumar highly valued positive changes in terms of investment policies and mechanisms to attract foreign investment serving multi-faced development goal of HCMC in recent years. He expressed his belief that US-Vietnam cooperation relation including with HCMC will be further deepened, especially when TPP comes into effect.

Mr. Dinh La Thang said the city is now focusing on many key programs including wastewater treatment, environmental sanitation, anti-flooding, etc. He affirmed that the city will be ready for creating every favorable condition for US investors to promote its investment in HCMC, bringing practical benefits to people and investors, making HCMC a modern-civilized-sentimental city with better living quality.

Mr. Arun Kumar said US investors are ready for participating into investments projects in HCMC especially in fields of infrastructure, wastewater treatment. He expressed his belief that HCMC will make a new change in the future.
