Scientific conference celebrates South's Liberation Day

A scientific conference entitled “Ho Chi Minh City-40 years of building, development and integration” marking the 40th anniversary of the South's Liberation Day (April 30th) will be held in the city on March 17.
The conference aims to affirm great achievements in building and developing the city in particular and the country in general, creating a basic change in the social life of the people, according to Head of the Department of Propaganda and Training of the HCMC Party Committee-Than Thi Thu.
The conference will have seminars discussing experiences in political stability, maintenance of social order and safety and the city’s development.
The Department of Propaganda and Training of the HCMC Party Committee received more than 100 articles of scientists, researchers, leaders and management officials throughout the country, focusing on overview of Ho Chi Minh City; the city’s key role in the South; urban economy; building a spiritual society and political system; maintenance of social order and safety and the city’s development.
