The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has promulgated regulations on the management of beggars who do not have stable residences and the people who are living in public places and do not have stable residence in Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, when detecting the beggars and the people living in public places, the districts shall gather them and verify their residences to handle their resettlement or community integration or lead them to the initial receiving entities.

The initial reception time must not exceed 30 days from the date on which the director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs decides to receive them initially.
