The HCM City People's Committee has instructed functional departments to strengthen the patrol and control to promptly prevent, detect and handle acts of storing and transporting smuggled goods; to inspect and strictly control shipments in transit or transshipment from the import to actual export; enhance scouting, grasping any situation, defining magnates, lines, gangs and complex gathering places; control retail markets, agents, shops for sale and storage containing goods prohibited from importing, used goods and handle violations strictly.

The District People's Committees need to control and not to gather, store, trade and consume goods that are banned from import, conditional imports or used goods in the City.
