On December 1, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Hua Ngoc Thuan received Mr. Martin Bean, President of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia.
At the meeting, Mr. Martin Bean expressed his thanks to leaders of HCMC for its support to RMIT in HCMC. Mentioning about RMIT’s plans, Mr. Martin Bean said RMIT will continue building new facilities and renewing studying and teaching quality, training a high quality student generations to meet the demands of society after graduating. He hoped to strengthen co-operation with HCMC in fields of education and information technology.
For his part, Mr. Hua Ngoc Thuan highly valued achievements of RMIT Vietnam, saying that renovation of studying and teaching programs and usage of technology to enhance quality of English language training programs of RMIT Vietnam is very significant and important for Vietnam in the process of global integration.
Mr. Thuan added that there are still many opportunities for RMIT to develop in HCMC and hoped that RMIT continue to invest here.
