In the afternoon of May 18, at headquarter of HCMC People’s Committee, Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong chaired the preliminary summing up of 2-year implemntation of urban renovation and and development program in 2016-2018.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Phong stressed: the program is a new one worked out at 10th HCMC Party Congress and one of 7 breakthrough progams of the city.
To make it a success, Mr. Phong suggested Department of Construction to figure out achieved results and shortcomings, proposing solutions, calculating newly emerged problems. Relative departments and agencies cooperate with Department of Construction to carry out the program, Department of Planning and Architecture reports the situation of reviewing and improving quality of planning in the past time.
