On December 19, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh paid a working visit to HCMC Cadre Academy. Attending the meeting includes Minister of Home Affairs Le Vinh Tan and Secretary of HCMC Party Committee Dinh La Thang.
As a report, Associate.Pro. Ph. Tran Hoang Ngan, Director of HCMC Cadre Academy (HCA) said the academy always do an excellent job in training and fostering officials and cadres for political system of HCMC. In 2016, HCMC Cadre Academy has trained 27,117 students of 299 classes, of whom 149 classes of political - administrative theories with 11, 630 students. The academy has diversified its training programs for various objects such as training courses to update knowledge for delegates of People’s Council at ward/commune/district levels, providing training courses of PAPI, PCI for officials of the city and districts.
Mr. Truong Hoa Binh emphasized that HCA plays an important role of training and fostering cadres for the HCMC at all levels as well as young intellectuals and Bachelors of administration in the future with good qualification, competence, knowledge in the context of global integration.
Mr. Truong Hoa Binh requested HCA to bring into play its tradition and achieved results, focusing on renewing contents and methods of training and education, attaching training activities with practical demands and diversifying training forms.
