The Party Central Committee’s Commission for Organisation held a national meeting on August 21 in Ho Chi Minh City to roll out guidelines on personnel work at Party congresses at all levels in preparation for the upcoming 12th National Party Congress.
Addressing the two-day event, To Huy Rua, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of the commission, emphasised the importance of personnel work in Party building, especially preparations of Party congresses at all levels.
The success of congresses at all levels is decisive to the success of the 12th National Congress, contributing to maintaining and promoting the Party’s role in the national construction and defence, he said.
Rua also noted that the Politburo has set forth strict requirements for the work, urging for practical and effective reform to ensure that the principle of democracy as well as the Party’s regulations are fully observed.
It is also necessary to ensure the quality of the work, while optimising the brainpower and responsibility of all party members and people, he said.
During the meeting, participants will comment on a draft direction to the implementation of election regulations in the Party structure.
