At the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Binh Quan awarded the Badges to 8 leaders, formers leaders of HCMC including Secretary Nguyen Thien Nhan, Former Secretary Le Thanh Hai, Deputy Secretary cum Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong, former vice secretary and former Chairman of HCMC Le Hoang Quan, Standing Deputy Secretary Tat Thanh Cang, former Deputy Secretary Nguyen Van Dua, deputy Secretary and Chairwoman of HCMC People’s Council Nguyen Thi Quyet Tam, and Deputy Secretary Vo Thi Dung.

On this occasion, the Office of HCMC Party Committee and HCMC Department of External Relations was honoured Certificate of Merit from Party Central Committee’s Commission for excellent performances in external relation activities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Binh Quan highly appreciated contributions and efficient cooperation of HCMC related to external relation activities of the State, Party and people to people diplomacy.

He expressed his hope the those who were honoured the Party Badge will continue making contributions to the external relation activities of the Party.

Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong affirmed that the city will continue implementing external relation activities in a positive and dynamic manner, ensuring effectiveness in all diplomatic pillars of politics, economy, culture and Overseas Vietnamese affairs.
