On April 4, Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee received a delegation of Parliamentarian Alliance of AiChi prefecture (Japan) led by President of Alliance Naoe Hirobumi on a working visit to HCMC.
At the reception, Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong said HCMC and Aichi prefecture have signed an MOU on cooperation and friendship relation in 2016, saying the city will try its best to further promote HCMC-AiChi friendship and cooperation relation through specific and practical projects.
Mr. Phong expressed his hope that Parliamentarian Alliance of AiChi will contribute its proposals to strong cooperation development of HCMC and AiChi in fields of trade, investment, waterway tourism, education and training.
For his part, President Naoe Hirobumi reaffirmed that Vietnam-Japan friendship relation have been upgraded to comprehensive strategic partnership, expressing his hope HCMC and AiChi prefecture will further promote cooperation activities in many fields.
