Over 2,600 females get employment

The Women Union in Ho Chi Minh City said that over 2,600 female laborers have earned jobs after the sixth Career Festival for women held in Le Thi Rieng Cultural Park from July 16 to 20.
The festival attracted 24,000 visitors for shopping and looking for a job. 24 enterprises have recruited 3,880 laborers including over 2.600 female workers.
Moreover, 54 firms managed by female directors have achieved more than VND5 billion (US$ 235,950) from selling its own products. The festival is part of the campaign Vietnamese use Vietnamese products.
