VTG 2015 displayed modern and advanced products and technologies in the textile and garment industry including Spinning machinery & accessories, Looms, Yarn processing machinery & accessories, Weaving machinery & accessories, Bleaching & washing machines, Chemicals and dyes, Steaming machinery, Cloth processing machinery & accessories, Embroidery equipment, Knitting machinery, Auxiliary equipment, Testing equipment and controls, Winding machines, Textile screen printing machinery, etc.

VTG 2015 attracted 125 exhibitors covering 300 booths from 12 countries and territories such as Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Hongkong, Germany, Turkey, Korea, India, Taiwan, Malaysia and China.

Addressing at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hong Giang-General Secretary of Vietnam Cotton and Spinning Association said: it is forecasted that export value of Vietnam textile and Garment in 2015 will reach US$ 28 billion. Vietnam needs 8, 5 meters of fabrics annually but local production capacity can only meet 1/3 of demand (3 billion). To realize the tariff advantages of FTAs, TPP, etc, Vietnam must quickly complement production capacity of 5 billion meters of fabrics/year, so Vietnam textile and garment industry must enhance its capacity, quality and production progress as well as competitive price.

To achieve this, Vietnamese enterprises must invest modern and advanced machinery and equipment which is transferred from developed countries in the world.

VTG 2015 brought a good opportunity for investment co-operation and technology transfer, a change for direct discussion between suppliers, enterprises, individuals in the textile and garment industry.
