On November 5, Vietnam Int’l Retail and Franchise Exhibition 2015 (VIETRF) officially opened at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre, District 7, HCMC. This is an annual event and an important trade promotion of the retail and franchise sector.
VIETRF 2015 attracted 250 booths of 170 exhibitors from 12 countries and territories. The event showcased many kinds of products such as food and drinks, fashion, interior equipments, consulting and training services, etc of famous brands including Jollibee, Ministop, Effoc Café, World Franchise Associates, Uncle Bill, Snowee, Tous Les Jour, etc. Besides, VIETRF 2015 also displayed the advanced machinery and technology such as POS, freezer, coffee maker, etc.
As a concurrent event with VIETRF, Korea Sourcing Fair 2015 was organized at the same period of time. Visitors had opportunities to experience the real Korean culture with many activities along with the fair. The participation of famous Korean brands brought a large number of high quality products such as foods, drinks, fresh vegetables, household appliances, cloths, jewelries, souvenirs, electronic equipment.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Tran Quoc Khanh noted that VIETRF 2015 created opportunities for Vietnamese and international enterprises to meet, exchange information and grab the latest trends of franchise in Vietnam to seek trade co-operation and investment opportunities.
