At the reception, Mr. Khoa highly appareciates OIF’s strong development, especially in re-designing peace and promoting educational cooperation and expanding French language speaking community in the world. He siad the city now maintains French language training courses in high schools and universities with participation of 4,000 students at high school level and 5,000 students at unversities.

According to Mr. Khoa, to develop French language speaking community, the city needs OIF’s suppport in training and fostering professional skills for teachers in the city. At the same time, based on well-established Vietnam-France cooperation relations, including between localities of France and HCMC, the city needs OIF to support to restore Frenh architecture works to protect and preserve unique cultural characteristics of French speaking community in the city.

Thanked HCMC’s leaders for warmly welcoming, Mr. Adama Ouane affirmed that HCMC plays an important role as a center of OIF’s French language speaking community in the region. He stressed that the purpose of such a working visit to HCMC is to study the city’s demand in promoting the development of French language speaking community. Through this visit, OIF will work out plans to promote French language and French speaking community in HCMC in the coming time to raise spirit of peace, friendship and cooperation.
