(HCM CITYWEB)- On September 16, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Tat Thanh Cang received Pr. Rob van Eijbergen, CBI special representative international relations – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands on a visit to HCMC.
At the meeting, Mr. Rob Van Eijbergen highly appreciated development potential of HCMC, saying that CBI has been implementing many co-operation programs in Vietnam in fields of apparel, food, mechanical, seafood. In HCMC, CBI has signed co-operation deal with Satra to build a Center for Agricultural product Transaction and Exhibition in Binh Dien wholesale market, District 8.
Mr. Rob Van Eijbergen hoped to share experience and to support HCMC in providing information, agricultural product standard imported from Europe, support HCMC to access to European market. He added CBI can support HCMC to develop hi-tech agricultural products which is strength of the Netherlands. Besides, CBI can boost co-operation with HCM in fields of human resource, supporting industries, construction, machinery manufacturing, export, tourism and sea port.
Mr. Cang stressed that HCMC always creates favorable conditions for CBI to promote investment in fields of CBI’s interest in the future.
