Movies of International Short Film Festival of Berlin screened in city
Movie lovers will have a chance to enjoy 10 pictures that are nominations at the International Short Film Festival of Berlin, at 19B Pham Ngoc Thach Street in District 3 in Ho Chi Minh City from August 15-16.
Movies from eight countries around the world are Marc Jacobs; Symphony No. 42; Birds; A Paradise; Taprobana; Smile, and the world will smile back; The white roses; Three stones for Jean Genet; The big house (La Casona); and Wonder.
The Berlinale shorts, all of which are maximum of 30 minutes long, will be shown free of charge. The films will feature subtitles in both English and Vietnamese.
Founded in 1982, the International Short Film Festival of Berlin showcases numerous competitions in all genres, from documentary to cartoons, and gives a fascinating insight into film tendencies of selected genres, countries and regions. It also includes workshops, discussions and parties.
