Accordingly, in the period of 2017-2021, HCMC Women’s Union and Vientiane Women’s Union will organize visits of delegations of both sides to share information of both sides’ activities, to promote and create favorable conditions for female entrepreneurs and intellectuals of both sides to meet, exchange experience of startup, business and production activities, cultural exchanging. HCMC Women’s Union will support women with difficult situations in Vientiane capital, offering scholarships and training courses for personnel, members of the union, students with difficult situations worth of VND 450 million.

Chairwoman of HCMC Women’s Union To Thi Bich Chau expressed her hope that the MOU will strengthen friendship and cooperation relations between Vietnam and Lao People’s Democratic Republic in general and that of HCMC and Vientiane in particular. HCMC and Vientiane Women’s Unions will conduct many activities to meet the practical needs and legitimate benefits of both sides’ women.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairwoman of Vientiane Women’s Union Khamphay Latsamy thanked HCMC Women’s Union for its support for Vientiane Women’s Union, affirming that Vientiane Women’s Union will use the funds from HCMC Women’s Union effectively.
