More than VND 10 billion earmarks for remote islands

On December 17, Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, the Club for beloved Paracel and Spratly Archipelagos” coordinated with HCMC TV to organize a music program entitled: “Spring in remote islands” 2. 


Over 300 organizations, businesses, domestic and international sponsors supported more than VND 10 billion for people, cadres and soldiers working and protecting the maritime sovereignty of the country, all for a warming and sentimental Spring festival. 

Speaking at the program, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh said: “The program has become a linking bridge of love and trust between land and remote islands, between the rear and the front bases, between people and soldiers, between nation construction and protection of sovereignty of the sacred islands of the nation”.


Mr. Truong Hoa Binh called on the people of the whole country, Vietnamese overseas to support the Club for “the beloved Paracel and Spratly Archipelagos”, to join hands in protecting the sovereignty of the sacred islands of the country.
