At Saigon Giai Phong Newspapers, Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspapers Nguyen Tan Phong thanked HCMC’s leaders for their message of congratulations. He said, from early 2018, the newspapers has maintained and closely followed guidances of the Party and People’s Committees in strengthening propaganda activities of big events of the city and the whole country. In the coming time, the newspapers will focus on implementing the propaganda program on the Resolution 54 of the National Assembly and breakthrough programs of the city.

On the occation of Vietnam Revolutionary Journalism Day, Secretary Nhan congratulated the Editorial Board, reporters of Saigon Giai Phong Newspapers, expressing his hope that the newspapers will continue its core principles and purposes, working out new initiatives in drawing attention of readers, maintaining its position as a leading newspaper in implementing political tasks.

* At the same day, on a visit to Vietnam News Agency (VNA)– Southern Office, Secretary Nhan highly appreciated important contributions of VNA to the development of HCMC, saying VNA contines to make efforts to be deserved as a leading communications agency of the whole country as well as to enhance Vietnam’s position in international arena.

Mr. Phan Van Dong, Deputy Director of VNA-Southern Office thanked HCMC’s leaders for their support, saying the city has created favorable conditions for VNA to complete its assigned tasks and to closely coordinate with loal media agencies to provide acccurate, timely information to contribute the construction of a modern and developed city.
