Measuring public satisfaction for better service quality

On September 27, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan – Politburo Member & President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee had a working session with HCMC on a survey assessing people’s satisfaction index to administrative bodies in 2016.

According to HCMC’s report, regarding to implementation of the project of Ministry of Home Affairs on “Building methods to measure satisfaction of citizens and organizations with services rendered by State administration agencies”, HCMC People’s Committee has carried out the pilot project through the website: www.danhgiahailong.hochiminhcity.gov.vn,  www.hochiminhcity.gov.vn and other websites of districts. The implementation consists of two phases: system testing and assessing at 24 districts and 5 departments.


In a speech, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan said the Central Government has seen the diversification of the implementation work and initial results of the project. He requested the city to continuously renew its mechanisms and to strengthen administrative reform to improve investment efficiency and living standard of people. In term of administrative reform, the satisfaction index is the key factor. Based on the satisfaction index, the city will adjust its missions. This project should be strongly implemented in the coming time.
