Leaders of HCMC receives Vice Mayor of Sacramento

On February 6, Vice Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Hua Ngoc Thuan received Mr. Allen Wayen Warren, Vice Mayor of Sacramento – capital city of California (USA) on co-operation and investment opportunities in HCMC.
At the meeting, Mr. A.W.Warren highly appreciated socio-economic development of HCMC and expressed his impression at achievements in fields of infrastructure and trade services of HCMC. He said that US investors is now showing their interests in trade investment in HCMC with promising potential and co-operation opportunities. Mr. Warren hoped that HCMC creates favorable conditions for US companies to seek and promote investment.
Mr. Hua Ngoc Thuan said that HCMC is now opening door to international investors to Thu Thiem urban area. He stressed that HCMC and US have many co-operation potentials in fields of construction, transport, tourism and agriculture. Mr. Thuan hoped that the visit will create a new milestone for both sides’ co-operation.
