Leaders of HCMC receives Chairman of The Trust for University Innovation in Vietnam

On May 24, Vice Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Manh Ha had a meeting with Chairman of The Trust for University Innovation in Vietnam on establishment of Fulbright University Vietnam (FUV) in HCMC Thomas Vallely.

At the meeting, Mr. Thomas Vallely said construction of FUV at HCMC hi-tech park will provide training courses of technical science and technology. FUV will incorporate with HCMC National University and US Universities to create a 3-party link in training high quality engineers in HCMC. Mr. Thomas Vallely added that FUV has so far received a strong support from big enterprises including Google, Nike, etc, which are in need of employing hi-technical engineers.

Mr. Thomas Vallely expressed his hope that leaders of HCMC will create favorable conditions in issuance of license so the FUV can start its groundbreaking ceremony right in 2015.

For his part, Mr. Le Manh Ha affirmed that HCMC always supports investors coming to HCMC, especially those in education sector, saying that the city will create every favorable condition for quickly issuing investment license, any problem beyond the jurisdiction of HCMC, the city will submit to the Government.
