On May 6, Southern Representative Office of Vietnam Publishers Association was incorporation with Center for Women’s Knowledge Training (under HCMC Women’s newspapers) to launch “Mother & baby Bookcase” at 20 Nguyen Dang Giai St, Thao Dien Ward, District 2, HCMC.
“Mother & baby Bookcase” will serve readers for free of charge with many books regarding to how to take care and teach children, how to build a world of love for children, how to make a beautiful life and a beloved family. The bookcase opens from 8 AM to 11:30 AM and 13PM to 17PM every day.
On this occasion, author Phoenix Ho briefly introduced the book titled “ Mẹ dắt con đi” (temporarily translated: ‘mother leads her child” ( published by First News-Tri Viet Publishing Co., Ltd) to mothers and young readers. The author shared: “ I wish to share my experience as a mother to young readers, those who are still anxious about how to be a mother in the context of continuous changes in society”.
The book includes a series of short and simple stories about a mother and a son called Gấu (Bear) by the author. The book brings forward useful lessons and experience of how to teach a child. These stories are collected by Phoenix Ho from various documents as well as from her own experience as a mother at the first time.
