On the afternoon of March 15, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen received Mr. George Tanasijevich, Chairman cum CEO of Marina Bay Sand, Global Development Management Director of Las Vegas Sand (USA), on a visit to seek investment cooperation opportunities.
At the meeting, Mr. George Tanasijevich said Las Vegas Sand hopes to invest in large-scale integrated resort complexes combined with conference and exhibition centers to meet the development demands of HCMC and to develop the city’s tourism sector.
Highly appreciated Las Vegas Sand’s capability, Deputy Chairman Tran Vinh Tuyen said the city is now aiming at diversifying types of tourism to bring into play its full potential and advantages to make tourism a key economic sector.
He thanked Las Vegas Sand for its willingness to invest in tourism and resort projects in HCMC, saying the city will create favorable conditions for Las Vegas Sand to study, promote and invest.
