At the meeting, Mr. Bounpone Sangsomsak expressed his sincere thanks to leaders of HCMC for warm welcome. He said both countries’ government inspectorates have concluded a co-operation deal. The delegation have met HCMC’s inspectorates and exchanged experiences on settling complaints, denunciations and asset transparency declaration. Through the visit, he hoped to strengthen co-operation between both countries and especially with HCMC. This will create favorable conditions for establishing close relationship between HCMC’s inspectorates and localities of Laos.

Mr. Tat Thanh Cang expressed his delight at a good relationship between Vietnam and Laos. He said that HCMC has built an IT program liking related departments and agencies to handle complaints, denunciations. HCMC’s authority aims to enhance quality of inspectorates and work out co-operation regulations between HCMC’s inspectorates with Internal Affairs Committee and Inspection Committee under HCMC Party’s Committee, especially with Anti-Corruption Steering Committe.
