At the meeting, Mr. Le Hoang Quan highly valued positive and significant activities of Mr. Southideth Phommalat in his term in HCMC, contributing to the reinforcement of Vietnam-Laos relation. Mr. Quan expressed his delight at the traditional friendship, comprehensive co-operation, solidarity between Parties, States and Peoples of both countries, especially between HCMC and localities of Laos. Mr. Quan wished him good health and believed that in his new position, Mr. Southideth Phommalat will continue to contribute to the reinforcement of Vietnam and Laos relation.

Mr. Southideth Phommalat thanked leaders of HCMC for the support in his term, he expressed his good impressions on economic development of HCMC and hoped to receive continuous support from HCMC to further promote co-operation between HCMC and localities of Laos, to enhance traditional friendship and co-operation between both countries.

On this occasion, Mr. Quan granted the Ho Chi Minh City’s badge to Mr.  Southideth Phommalat for his great contributions to the good relationship of HCMC and Laos in his tenure.
