At the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Thuong highly appreciated traditional friendship and continued co-operation relations between Vietnam and Korea in many fields, saying that strategic relationship between both countries has contributed to the good achievements in trade between Korea and HCMC. HCMC is always an ideal destination for Korean investors and a home where a large number of Korean people are living and working.

Mr. Vo Van Thuong hoped that with a strong attachment to Vietnam, Korean Consulate General will continue to strengthen co-operation relations between HCMC with localities of Korea in fields of economy, trade, culture, education to contribute to the already good relationships between both countries.

Mr. Park Noth Wan thanked authorities of HCMC for continuous support for Korean people to seek co-operation opportunities as well as to live and work in HCMC. Through a recent visit to Korea of Secretary Le Thanh Hai, Mr. Park Noth Wan believed that the visit will deepen bilateral relations and create a firm foundation for trade co-operation.
