On April 13, Vice Chairwoman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thu received representatives of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Asia Technical Cooperation Network (ATCN) of Japan on a visit to discuss training programs for plastic enterprises.
In order to continuously provide technical training courses for Vietnamese and Japanese plastic enterprises doing business in industrial parks – export processing zones in HCMC, relevant parties have completed plans and prepared for implementation as schedule.
At the reception, Mrs. Kuniko Sato, representative of JICA, said JICA highly values this co-operation, saying that JICA is willing to send its experts to share knowledge and experience for HCMC’s enterprises. She suggested HCMC supports the evaluation work and approves the activities of the project to quickly implement it, contributing to improvement of Vietnam – Japan co-operation relation.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu said HCMC highly values co-operation project between JICA and HEPZA, saying this project is very practical; it helps HCMC train a high quality human resource for supporting industry. She suggested that any difficulty may occur in the process of implementation of the project, JICA should inform to HEPZA for timely consideration.
