On March 11, Vice Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Tat Thanh Cang had a meeting with a delegation of Hungary led by Mr. Mikola István, State Secretary for Security and International Co-operation of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
At the meeting Mr. Mikola István highly appreciated socio-economic growth rate of HCMC and its achievements in the past time. He said that this visit to HCMC aims to seek co-operation opportunities in fields of culture, health, state management and climate change. He hoped to build a specialized tumor research center in HCMC.
He announced that Hungary in 2015 will open an office of Consulate General in HCMC to further promote co-operation and friendship relations. Mr. Tat Thanh Cang highly appreciated the visit of Mr. Mikola István, saying that HCMC will create favorable conditions for Hungarian investors doing business in HCMC.
