According to the deal, both sides will organize meetings and exchange activities for Vietnamese and US enterprises to seek business cooperation opportunities.

HUBA and Amcham will create favourable conditions for business and investment connectivity through seminars, economic fora, exhibitions, etc. to bring practical benefits to both sides’ businesses.

Both sides will provide information, receive business delegations from USA to HCMC and vice versa; organizing business delegations to USA and HCMC to seek business opportunities, trade promotion programs, seminars, etc. 

In term of communications, both sides will strengthen cooperation in providing information through websites, online newspapers to propagate events, programs to members of both sides.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. John Rockhold, Executive Director of AMCHAM said Vietnam-US business and investment cooperation relations have shown positive results. In the coming time, AMCHAM will proactively carry out contents of the cooperation deal with HUBA to promote business link between USA and Vietnam.

In addition, AMCHAM will encourage USA enterprises to share their experience in new technology transfer, to introduce support resources to Vietnamese enterprises toward sustainable development in the future.

Mentioning about the deal, Mr. Chu Tien Dung, President of HUBA said the deal is one of the initial steps to affirm and enhance quality and efficiency of mutual cooperation relations, to support and promote cooperation between entrepreneurs and members of both sides to expand investment opportunities and market development.
