Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development provides guidance on investing high technology associated with brand building, joining safe product and consumption market chains, setting up detailed plans on transferring and application of hi-tech in agriculture in the period of 2016-2020 and orientations till 2025 submitted to the HCMC People’s Committee.

Board Management of Hi-Tech Parks will be in charge of coordinating with HCMC Farmers’ Association, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to build standard model with an area of 500sqm on hi-tech application on vegetables, orchids, ornamental plants, net house, greenhouse. This standard model would be submitted to the Committee before Sep 10 2016; providing reports on the progress of investment situations of existed hi-tech parks (88.17 hectares); cooperating with Department of Planning and Investment to propose solutions for current difficulties and barriers; establishing land withdrawal procedures for enterprises that fail to invest in research and production in hi-tech parks; giving reports on detailed plans on time and progress of allocating land, size, total investment capital for expanding new hi-tech agricultural area.
