In the afternoon of January 18, Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong recieved Mr. Tokihiro Nakamura, Governor of Ehime prefeture (Japan).
Expressing his delights at receiving Mr. Tokihiro Nakamura, Mr. Phong stressed that chemical industry is a strength of Ehime prefecture and one of 4 key industries of HCMC. He added both sides can promote coperation in this field. Based on available potential, HCMC hopes to strengthen cooperation with Ehime prefecture in fields of education and management.
Mr. Phong also expressed his belief that in the context of tax cuts among ASEAN countries, HCMC will become an ideal destination for Japanese investors. The city is now ready for welcoming a new wave of Japanese investment.
