HCMC to strengthen cooperation with Kursk province

On December 9, Permanent Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem received Deputy Governor of Kursk province (Russia) Krivolapov Aleksandr Nikolaevich in a courtesy visit to HCMC.

At the reception, Mr. Le Thanh Liem highly valued Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, saying HCMC-Russia cooperation relation has achieved positive changes in many fields, especially economy, culture. Mr. Le Thanh Liem said HCMC, with the role of the largest economic center of Vietnam, is attracting a special attention of Russian businesses to seek business and investment opportunities. The strong cooperation between both localities will create favorable conditions for Vietnamese and Russian businesses.
Sharing his point of view on cooperation potential between both localities, Mr. Krivolapov Aleksandr Nikolaevich said that based on traditional cooperation relations between Vietnam and Russia and between Vietnam and localities of Russia, Kursk province has worked out plans and cooperation promotion programs with Vietnam, including with HCMC – the largest economic center of Vietnam where Russian businesses hope to boost economic cooperation.

Mr. Krivolapov Aleksandr Nikolaevich emphasized that Kursk province’s authorities are showing their interest in strengthening cooperation with HCMC through tourism activities, youth exchange programs and humanity education.
