On April 16, Permanent Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem received Mr. Anastasios Diou, Deputy Governor of Edessa City (Greece) on his working visit to the city.
Mr. Liem expressed his delight at witnessing the good traditional friendship relations between Vietnam and Greece, thanked Greek Government for supporting Vietnam.
He affirmed that HCMC is always welcoming and creating favorable conditions for foreign investors, including Greek ones to seek investment and cooperation opportunities in the city, especially in fields of Greece’s strengths.
For his part, Mr. Anastasios Diou, thanked the city’s leaders for warmly welcoming the delegation, saying the visit’s purpose is to study the country, culture and history of Vietnam. He expressed his wish to establish friendship relations with some localities of Vietnam, including HCMC.
